Why Instagram Business Insights Are Missing

Fix 1: Verify You Have a Professional Account
Insights are only available on Creator and Business accounts, not personal accounts. Go to Settings > Account > Switch to Professional Account if you’re on a personal account. Choose Business or Creator based on your usage.
Fix 2: Account Must Be Active for 7+ Days
New professional accounts don’t have Insights data until they’ve been active for at least 7 days with some content posted. If your account is new, wait a week and check again.

Outdated app versions often have Insights loading bugs. Update to the latest version in the App Store or Google Play. After updating, force close the app and reopen it.
Fix 4: Check Insights on Mobile vs Desktop
Instagram Insights are mobile-only in the app. However, Creator Studio at business.facebook.com provides Insights via desktop browser. If mobile Insights aren’t loading, try Creator Studio as a temporary alternative.
Fix 5: Disconnect and Reconnect Facebook Page
If your Instagram is connected to a Facebook Page and Insights stopped after a page change, disconnect and reconnect. Settings > Business > Connected Accounts > Facebook. Remove the connection and re-add it. This often resolves Insights display issues.
Fix 6: Report the Bug
If none of the above works, report via Settings > Help > Report a Problem. Include screenshots of the blank Insights screen. Instagram’s development team tracks these reports and releases fixes in app updates.
